I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate, 1st Aid Certificate and a Child Safeguarding Certificate. My training took place at Ann Oliver Stage School where I achieved all my Major and Teaching Qualifications. As well as the Dance School I also run Creative Edge Dance Agency providing professional Dancers for a wide range of events and I also provide Dance alongside the educational curriculum within local primary schools.
HEAD TEACHER: - Louise Hammond
Louise commenced her dancing at the age of 3 and it was here she first met Miss Sarah. Friends for many years they went their separate ways until meeting up again some 12 years ago when Louise was asked to come along as a guest choreographer - the rest as they say, is history, as Louise has been with us ever since and has had a huge influence in the success of Dance Sensation. Louise has had a successful career and has performed as a Professional Dancer for one of the UK's leading holiday companies, performed and choreographed pantomimes all over the country and has had numerous dance contracts. Her quality of teaching is excellent and that is proved by the continual progress and brilliant performances from the boys and girls.
STREET DANCE and CONTEMPORARY TEACHER: - David Gingell
For many years, David has been a guest choreographer at Dance Sensation but we are over the moon that he is now a permanent member of the team. Having trained at Leicester College and Addict Dance Studio's he has had a brilliant dance career, he reached the Semi Finals and Finals of BGT with the Addict Initiative, performed for Ashley Banjo's Secret Street Crew featured Act, appeared on Got To Dance, a dancer for Showaddy Waddy, resident dancer at various events and venues and is now providing workshops all over the Midlands. David is looking forward to passing on his wealth of talent and experience to the pupils at Dance Sensation.
STREET DANCE:- Nicole Corkett
Nicole is delighted to have the opportunity to teach Street Dance. Since a very young age Nicole has trained at Dance Sensation and gained her dance qualifications at Leicester College. For the past two years Nicole has been a resident dancer at Drayton Manor, as well as working with Creative Edge performing a variety of styles at different venues and events across the UK. Nicole is excited with the new challenge of teaching and its good for the children to be taught by someone who is still performing, keeping everything current and up to date.
